DRIvE: Unlocking the Demand Response potential in the distribution grid

DRIvE is an EU H2020 consortium project with 9 partners from 7 European countries. It aims to penetrate EU demand response markets by linking cutting-edge Multi-Agent System science, forecasting and cyber security with emerging innovative SMEs. At its core are the development and validation of a fully-integrated ICT infrastructure. This will consist of interoperable demand response-enabling energy management solutions for residential and tertiary buildings and a platform for the effective and secure management of flexibility at distribution grid level. USEF is being used as the basis for interoperability of the DRIvE solution with the electricity market.

Organisation

USEF was founded by seven key players, active across the smart energy industry. Their goal: to accelerate the establishment of an integrated smart energy system which benefits all stakeholders, from energy companies to consumers. The foundation is no longer active, yet USEF’s work is still available for referencing.
